Pastor P'Pool: I was so happy to meet you and to see my uncle J. W. Bishop's (the former pastor of Stites Baptist Church) picture hanging on your wall. My uncle was also a great influence in my life and I credit he and Aunt Margaret along with my mother and dad for the Christian life I lead today. I remember as a little girl visiting my Uncle and Aunt's house and going to church at Foster Avenue Baptist Church with them and also listening to my Uncle Jay on the radio preach. One time I went with him to the ministry he carried on at the prison where I played the piano. May God continue to bless your ministry. As a member of My Old Kentucky Home Eastern Star in Bardstown Kentucky where I live, I have visited Barker Lodge (across the road from your church) several times, but understand they will shortly close. They have such wonderful people there, like Archie and Jo Romaine who have belonged to that particular chapter for about 50 years.
Pray for my family as I will for yours. I would love to come visit you some Sunday morning and hear you preach and meet your family.
